1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fahlawi AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are a minor, your parent, guardian, or authorized school accepts on your behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Age (Grades 1–12)

• The platform is designed for students from Grade 1 through Grade 12
• Accounts must be created or authorized by a parent/guardian or an authorized school
• Minors may not purchase paid subscriptions without parental authorization
• Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the platform
• Accurate grade level and date of birth must be provided

3. Educational Services

Fahlawi AI provides:

• AI-powered tutoring and educational assistance
• Study materials and curriculum content
• Exams and progress tracking
• School and study group features
• Personalized learning recommendations

4. User Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for account security
• Do not share your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of suspected breaches
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations

5. Acceptable Use and Community Rules

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for illegal or abusive purposes
• Share harmful, inappropriate, or harassing content
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Impersonate others
• Use the service for academic dishonesty
• Harass other users in study groups or chats

6. AI Usage Terms

• AI is a supplementary educational tool, not a replacement for qualified human teachers
• AI responses may contain errors or incomplete information
• Important information should be verified through reliable sources
• Do not share unnecessary sensitive personal information in chats
• We use safety systems to reduce inappropriate content, but they are not perfect

7. Subscriptions and Payment

• Subscription fees are billed in advance according to your selected plan
• Paid subscriptions for minors require parental authorization
• Cancellation must occur before the next billing cycle
• Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

8. Intellectual Property Rights

• Content and software are owned by Fahlawi AI or our licensors
• You receive a limited license for personal educational use
• You retain ownership of your original work
• You grant us a license to use your submissions to operate and improve the service
• Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited

9. Educational Disclaimer

• The service supplements formal education; it does not replace it
• We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes
• Content is for educational purposes only
• Important academic decisions should be reviewed with a teacher or parent

10. Privacy and Data Protection

• Data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy
• We follow student data protection practices aligned with recognized educational privacy standards
• You have rights regarding your data as described in the Privacy Policy

11. School Use

• When a school enrolls students, it is responsible for obtaining necessary authorizations
• Teachers may access student data within their authorized scope
• Access may be suspended when a school subscription ends

12. Limitation of Liability

Fahlawi AI is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or educational opportunities
• Service interruptions or technical errors
• Third-party content or actions
• Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months

13. Account Termination

• You may delete your account from app settings
• We may suspend accounts for policy violations
• Premium access ends upon termination
• Some data may be retained for legal compliance

14. Changes to Terms

• We may update these terms from time to time
• Material changes will be communicated through the platform
• Continued use means acceptance of updated terms

15. Governing Law and Disputes

• These terms are governed by Jordanian law
• Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation
• If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts in Amman, Jordan

16. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation:

• You may cancel your subscription from account settings
• No cancellation fees
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• You retain paid access until the paid period expires

No refunds:

• Purchases are final and non-refundable after activation
• We provide a free version to evaluate the service before purchase

Exceptions:

• Duplicate charges or billing errors on our part
• Charges after confirmed cancellation
• Fraudulent transactions
• Complete service outage for more than 72 consecutive hours
• Cases required by applicable law

Before purchasing a paid subscription, you must confirm:

• You understand the no-refund policy
• You have tried the free version
• You know the price and billing frequency

• Parental authorization if the user is a minor
